Shipping Information

General

I pack every original and every fine art print myself with the utmost care and ship all orders personally. As a rule, I can only ship original artworks via a specialized art shipping service to ensure safe and insured transport. Fine art prints are shipped exclusively with the DHL delivery service for a smooth process.

Shipping is carried out to the delivery address specified by the customer. Delivery to DHL Packstations is generally possible. Exception: Fine Art Prints that must be shipped in shipping tubes with a length of over 75 cm cannot be delivered to Packstations. In this case, please provide a regular residential address as the delivery address.

About Shipping

With DHL, parcels are insured up to a merchandise value of €500 by default. According to DHL guidelines, my originals and fine art prints are classified as Valuables Category II, for which insurance exceeding a merchandise value of €500 per parcel is strictly excluded.

To fully secure your order in the event of loss, I divide deliveries with a total value of over €500 into multiple individual shipments (each with a maximum merchandise value of €500). To guarantee insurance coverage for each individual parcel, these parcels are shipped to you on consecutive business days. The total shipping costs incurred for this will be calculated automatically at checkout.

In general, shipping costs are always calculated automatically at checkout. The respective delivery times are specified during the ordering process. A tracking number for each parcel will be sent to you by email as soon as the respective shipment has been handed over to the shipping service provider.

Packaging

For my Originals, custom packaging is tailored individually to the artwork and shipped with an art shipping service. For Originals under €500, the same rules apply, but these can be shipped via DHL.

For my Fine Art Prints I use shipping tubes. To guarantee the same maximum security, the quality and protection standards listed below apply to the shipment of my Fine Art Prints.

Acid-free surface protection:
The printed front of the artwork is completely covered with a sheet of acid-free tissue paper. This protects the delicate ink from scratches, fingerprints, and chemical reactions.

Gentle rolling:
The print, along with the protective paper, is carefully and loosely rolled (with the motif facing outward). This prevents the paper from buckling and ensures that the artwork flattens more easily after unpacking.

Moisture protection:
The secured roll is slid into a highly transparent, plasticizer-free, and water-repellent protective sleeve and sealed.

Shockproof shipping tube:
The final shipment is carried out in a sturdy, thick-walled shipping tube. The ends are padded so that the artwork inside is protected against impacts and slipping.

Important notice for unpacking:
After opening the protective sleeve, please handle the fine art print only by the unprinted margins or with clean cotton gloves. It is best to let the artwork lie flat on a clean surface under light weights (e.g., books on top of the tissue paper) for 24 hours to flatten it perfectly before framing.

Warranty and Transport Damage

Statutory warranty rights apply. If a product arrives faulty or damaged, the statutory regulations apply. In this case, you will receive a flawless replacement. The replacement will be provided via the original shipping method at no additional cost.

If the shipping tube or parcel is visibly damaged upon delivery, I ask that you note this directly with the courier or refuse acceptance and contact me. Failure to report this has no effect on your statutory warranty rights. However, doing so makes it easier for me to process the claim with the transport company.

Returns and Return Shipping Costs

Should you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

I ask you to return the goods in their original packaging if possible and to ensure they are packed securely for transport to avoid creases or damage.

Customs Notice

For international deliveries, additional customs duties, import taxes, or fees may apply depending on the destination country. These costs are to be borne by the buyer.
